Etisalat received the prestigious TL9000 certification, an International Quality Standard for the telecom industry, a testament to its efforts in adapting the best industry practices to provide the best customer experience and apply the latest technologies on its network.

TL9000 quality management system was developed by the global association QuEST Forum that develops and implements quality and performance practices for the ICT industry. This certification is built on ISO9001 and its quality principles.

Saeed Zarouni, Senior Vice President, Mobile Network Etisalat said: "This certification is a testament to Etisalat's efforts towards adapting the best industry practices to continuously improve and invest in our offerings for our customers. Such an accreditation also ensures that the same levels of quality and high standards are maintained while incorporating emerging technologies. Etisalat has always made it a priority to adhere to integrity, laws and regulations that govern its business."

The certification TL 9000 was mainly for mobile planning, optimization, design, projects, services operation centre, network operation center, field maintenance and operations. This certification also makes Etisalat a part of the 'Quest Forum' elite. In addition to this new certification, Etisalat has attained ISO certifications for service and quality management, business continuity and information security.
