#Cyber_Saber_Hackathon, the leading hackathon competition in the region held alongside the 7th #MENAISC2019 conference at Crowne Plaza Riyadh RDC Hotel & Convention, was concluded. King Abdulaziz University won the first place, with a total number of 46 male and female participants.

The UAE’s Telecommunication Regulatory Authority participated in the International Telecommunications Union’s Forum in the Hungarian capital, Budapest. The forum discussed ideas on hastening innovation in the ICT field, aiming at achieving social and economic development by introducing innovative solutions and exchanging experiences at the global level.

The Réseaux IP Européens Network Coordination Centre (RIPE NCC), in collaboration with Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), held five workshops and three training courses to foster the deployment of Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) in Saudi Arabia. The course took place over a four-day period at CITC headquarters in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), and was attended by CITC, local Internet Service Providers (ISPs), telecom operators and other interested parties.

Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA) officially launched its corporate identity in Abu Dhabi, following law No. 16 of 2019, which was recently decreed by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in his capacity as the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, for the establishment of the authority replacing Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Centre (ADSIC).

The speed and manner at which it was done and gave way for industrial revolutions to take place - notwithstanding the fact that it keeps us all interconnected with one another.
