The telecommunications and digital government regulatory authority (TDRA) celebrated the UAE Flag Day, with the participation of TDRA’s employees in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, in a stand that reflected the pride of the UAE people in the flag of their country, and their determination to move forward under the guidance of their wise leadership, emphasizing their pride in the united house, their belonging to the UAE, and their quest for achieving its future visions and goals.

Commenting on this occasion, H.E. Eng. Majed Sultan Al Mesmar, TDRA director general, said, “Today, we are witnessing an occasion dear to all of our hearts, the UAE Flag Day. We celebrate this day together with our heads held high, as we contemplate our glorious flag, hovering in pride, embracing the people of the UAE, emphasizing that the journey that our founding fathers had started fifty years ago, is still progressing with great achievements.”

H.E. Al Mesmar added, “Flag Day celebration this year is different, as we live in a historical moment characterized by many transformations, and united by the same determination to achieve leadership and excellence. In the first 50 years, we drew the borders of our country with bright achievements in the paths that were dark, to become beacons for development and renaissance, then we fenced them with a young and enlightened workforce, to make the UAE a land of miracles. In the next 50 years, the values of love, happiness, and ambition will be the features of our new borders. We will make the UAE a dream that everyone with a loving heart, ambitious mind, and aspiring soul longs for.”

The UAE Flag Day reflects the cohesion of the UAE nationals and residents, and the unity of their goals to preserve the nation's achievements. It is also an occasion to renew the determination to continue working and giving to achieve the UAE’s journey of progress so that the UAE flag remains always high among nations and peoples.
