Lebanese minister of telecommunications H.E. Johnny Corm met with the Lebanese companies present at this year’s Mobile World Congress at a gathering hosted at the stand of MobiMind.
The minister discussed with the attendees the status of the telecommunications sector in Lebanon and the challenges that the ministry is facing. H.E. Johnny Corm called upon the Lebanese ICT diaspora to “work hand in hand in order to overcome the current challenges.”
The Lebanese minister lauded the achievements made by the Lebanese ICT diaspora and hoped for more cooperation with the ministry to push the telecoms sector forward. After listening to the aspirations and needs of the attending companies, H.E. Johnny Corm emphasized his commitment to solving the issues that are hampering the telecommunications sector in Lebanon and stressed his readiness to improve telecom services in the country.
