In an effort to invest in Iraq's strategic location, the Minister of Communications, Dr. Hiyam Al-Yasri, held a meeting at her office at the Ministry with the submarine cable company, Gulf Bridge International (GBI).
During the meeting, she discussed the methods and means of activating joint agreements to pass international Internet capacities through Iraq and resolve the problems and obstacles the project has faced for many years.
These efforts seek to bring good financial revenues to the Iraqi State and enhance investments in Iraq's important geographical location, a crucial sea cable link connecting the Arabian Gulf and Europe through Turkey and Iraq.
