His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani issued Amiri Decision No. 79 of 2023, designating Eng. Ahmed Abdullah Al Muslimani as the new President of the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA).

The decision takes effect immediately upon its issuance and will be officially published in the Gazette.

As an entity, the CRA oversees the telecommunications and information technology industry, postal services and digital media access in Qatar. At its core, CRA strives to maintain equilibrium between the rights of consumers and the requirements of service providers.
