With over 20 years of international experience in the telecom industry, Abdulrahman AlMufadda is stepping up as the new Deputy Minister for Telecom and Infrastructure at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in Saudi Arabia.

This comes following AlMufadda’s successful tenure in senior positions at Zain KSA, where he served as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

During his time at Zain KSA, AlMufadda played a key role in advancing the company’s solutions, having been instrumental in developing cloud infrastructure and managed services, as well as accelerating the rollout of innovative technologies.

Zain KSA has achieved significant milestones under his leadership, including the launch of the latest network technologies.

As the new Deputy Minister, AlMufadda is set to significantly contribute to MCIT’s ongoing efforts to drive digital transformation across Saudi Arabia. His longstanding experience in the telecom industry and proven track record represent a strategic move by the MCIT to shape the future of the Kingdom’s telecom and infrastructure landscape.
