Chief Technology Officer, Eng. Maziad Alharbi was awarded Operator CTO Of The Year in the "5G MENA Awards 2017" ceremony which was held in Dubai on Monday, 1st, May, 2017 and organized by KNcet365 TMT. The ceremony was attended by many figures and pioneer companies in the field of Telecom & IT sector from the Gulf Region, Middle East and North Africa.
The honoring of Eng. Maziad comes for his efforts as one of the major technology leaders in the region and his influence on the recent development in 4G network, his active participation in activating pre 5G network in Mobily to be the first operator in the Middle East; moreover, developing innovative experiments of 5G network.
It is worth mentioning that 5G MENA ceremony (Middle East & North Africa) gather telecom operators, solution providers, IoT specialists from all over the region to discuss new business models, and support the technical revolution towards advanced 4G network LTE-A, Internet of Things, Smart Cities, and 5G network.
