Emirates Data Clearing House (EDCH), part of Etisalat, the only data-clearing house based in the Middle East and Africa providing roaming solutions to mobile operators, organized its 15th Annual User Group meeting on Dec. 17, gathering 82 operators from Europe, Africa, Asia and the MENA region.

The annual meeting held in Dubai is a platform to engage with global C-level executives to discuss the latest trends in the roaming business, managing revenue streams, discuss case studies from industry leaders in mobile financial services, the growing significance of mobile wallet and enhancing revenues with management tools.

"We look forward to the Annual User Group meeting every year as it's an opportunity to meet our industry colleagues and interact with the best in the roaming industry," said Naser Salem, General Manager, EDCH.

The attendees at the meeting were mainly from Airtel Africa, Alfa, du, Expresso Group, Etisalat UAE, Afghanistan and Egypt, Gamcel Gambia, Jazz Pakistan, Mobily, MTN Group, Omantel, Ooredoo Oman, Roshan Afghanistan, Safaricom, Somtel, Telecom Egypt, Telecom26, Orange Telkom Kenya, Thuraya, Viva Bahrain, Zain Group from Kuwait, Lebanon, South Sudan, Sudan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Jordan.
