Ooredoo hailed as fastest mobile network in Kuwait
Ooredoo won Ookla’s Kuwait Speedtest Awards for mobile network speed during the first and second quarter of 2021. As per the conducted tests, Ooredoo achieved a speed score of 79.47, with average download speeds of 108.05 Mbps and average upload speeds of 25.34 Mbps.
Ooredoo Group publishes H1 2021 results
Ooredoo Group announced the results for the half year ended 30 June 2021. First half 2021 revenue stood at QAR 14.5 billion, an increase of 3% compared to the same period last year, mainly driven by growth in the operator’s operations in Qatar, Indonesia, and Tunisia. Excluding FX impact, revenue increased by 5%.
Vodafone Qatar reports 65.5% increase in half-year net profit
Vodafone Qatar announced its financial results for the first six months of 2021. Compared to H1 2020, the company has made significant growth in H1 2021, particularly in the achieved net profit of QR 134 million — 65.5% increase.

Zain Group shares financial KPIs for H1 2021
For the first six months of 2021, Zain Group generated a net income of KD 86 million (USD 285 million), up 5% Y-o-Y, reflecting earnings per share of 20 fils (USD 0.07). During the second quarter alone, the net income amounted to KD 41 million (USD 138 million), up 17% Y-o-Y.
