TECOM Group, a member of Dubai Holding, through a one-of-its-kind partnership with Dubai Creative Clusters Authority (DCCA), has announced the opening of an axs smart services centre. The fully-integrated services centre will act as the nucleas of a new customer engagement model intended to make it easier to do business for 4,600 business partners across nine of the Group's business parks. The creation of the new axs centre, in alignment with Dubai's vision, represents a new benchmark for partners to access government, corporate and employee services.
As part of its innovation strategy and commitment to building unique ecosystems, the partnership with DCCA furthers TECOM Group's goal to enable Dubai's transformation into a smarter city. The new axs centre is geared towards further enabling an enhanced and streamlined offering within a single location, managing more than 300,000 transactions annually.
Malek Al Malek, chief executive officer at TECOM Business Parks, said: "Today, the UAE is the 26th easiest country in the world for doing business, according to World Bank's influential Ease of Doing Business rankings for 2017, and as we continue in our efforts to attract the world's leading businesses and entrepreneurs to our business parks, the importance of being able to access a dedicated support network will be key to fostering innovation in Dubai. The Smart Dubai Government Shared Services Impact Report published by IBM already highlighted that Dubai has saved AED4.3 billion by integrating smart services since 2003. This is the cornerstone of the Dubai government's vision for the future, and the services we provide through axs will ensure we continue to take great strides forward within our business communities."
The axs service centre, through its strategic partnerships with government entities including Emirates Post Group, Dubai Customs, Dubai Department of Economic Development, Dubai Health Authority, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs and Emirates Identity Authority, will enable a seamless and efficient flow of services for business partners across TECOM Group's business parks in one convenient location.
Ali BuRuhaima, deputy director general at Dubai Creative Clusters Authority, said: "It is crucial that as a government regulatory body mandated to foster the economic development of Dubai's creative clusters and related knowledge industries, we make it as easy as possible to set up, run and expand a business within these dynamic sectors. The creative clusters we oversee are at the very heart of emirate's future competiveness potential as we work towards realising Dubai's Innovation vision. Today's announcement, paired with Dubai's potential as the gateway to the world's fastest growing region, will drive even more creative talent to Dubai. The axs Centre will also not only make life smoother, for entrepreneurs to established multinationals, but also engender more connections and partnerships that can act as a catalyst for further growth. By fostering new ecosystems, ways of working and activating new communities in the private and public sectors, we can lay the foundations of a world-class creative economy for the benefit of all.'
Dr. Ayoub Kazim, managing director, axs, said: "The axs digital platform provides more than 200 government, corporate and employee services which has contributed to an 85 percent reduction in average customer waiting times, which is enabling us to streamline our services and benefit our partners. The new 24 hour portal extends the reach of axs and is a significant step towards providing our partners with new services that enable them to focus on what they do best - growing their businesses."
