Ericsson has announced the opening of its new office in Amman and the appointment of Marwan Omari as General Manager of Ericsson Jordan, reaffirming Ericsson’s commitment to Jordan and reinforcing its position within the country’s dynamic ICT industry.
Kevin Murphy, Vice President and Head of Ericsson Levant Countries at Ericsson Middle East and Africa, commented, “2023 has been a landmark year for Ericsson and the local Information and Communications Technology landscape in Jordan. The new office will strengthen Ericsson’s efforts in nurturing local talent and propelling the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
Furthermore, through the establishment of this office, Ericsson will continue to explore avenues that create positive societal and environmental impact through innovative ICT solutions.

Ericsson has a rich history in Jordan, dating back to its inaugural operations in 1983. Presently, the company boasts a workforce of over 70 individuals in the country and maintains strong partnerships with local communication service providers (CSPs).
