Huawei and Zain KSA have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance mobile AI technology in the MENA region and support Saudi Arabia’s strategic vision to drive innovation in its capital city, Riyadh. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in enhancing technological innovation and user experience.

Huawei and Zain KSA will collaborate to explore artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled monetization models, including personalized plans, gaming acceleration, and live-streaming guarantees, to meet the growing digital demands of users. Additionally, the two parties will deploy AI-driven network optimization solutions in Riyadh to improve user experience through intelligent network management, delivering faster and more reliable mobile services to local users.         

Eng. Mohammed AlNujaidi, Chief Technology Officer, Zain KSA, commented, "Our collaboration with Huawei will accelerate our innovation in AI technology, enabling us to provide smarter and more personalized services to our users.”

Meanwhile, Dawood Zhang, Deputy CEO, Saudi Huawei Office, said, “Huawei is committed to creating value for customers through technological innovation. We are delighted to join hands with Zain KSA to explore the application of AI technology in mobile networks, drive commercialization in the 5.5G era, and deliver superior digital experiences to users.”

The signing of this MoU not only reflects the shared vision of Huawei and Zain KSA In technological innovation but also injects new momentum into the digital transformation of the Middle East.
