The Mobile World Congress edition of the 2016 Ericsson Mobility Report reveals the impact of different levels of network performance on smartphone users and their perceptions of mobile operators and digital content providers.

For the second year in a row, Ericsson was awarded the highest category award, 'IT Partner of the Year', at the Etisalat Misr I-Awards 2015, which was held at the Dusit Thani Hotel, in New Cairo. The award was received by Helene Henriksson, Head of Ericsson Egypt.

The MEF announces that PCCW Global has become the world's first service provider to receive MEF 100G CE 2.0 certification for E-Line and E-Access services. The certification represents a milestone for the industry, as the previous upper limit for MEF CE 2.0 services certification was 10G per second.

Nokia has been identified by market intelligence provider Current Analysis as the No.1 vendor for the delivery of technologies "beyond 4G" in a study compiled of 100 service provider executives around the globe. The results cited public safety as a key priority for 4G application, with Nokia also seen globally as the leading vendor, by far, of 4G-based public safety technology.
