In an exclusive interview with Telecom Review during the 18th edition of the Telecom Review Leaders' Summit, Edgard Tawk, CEO and Co-Founder, Eurisko, expanded on the company's cutting-edge AI solutions, which are transforming businesses.
Eurisko, a digital and AI integration leader, is pioneering advanced data visualization and predictive modelling tools to help organizations make smarter decisions.
Given the Middle East's scarcity of skilled AI talent, how is Eurisko successfully expanding its AI team? What strategies or initiatives have you implemented to attract, train, and retain top-tier talent in such a competitive landscape?
It's really at the heart of what we do. For companies like us, and all those that provide services, whether it be AI or digital, our biggest asset is talent.
What we started in the digital and development lifecycle, we're also applying to AI and data; that's why we created the Eurisko Academy, through which we train people. We train almost 100 fresh graduates, junior developers, data scientists, and AI engineers every two-to-three months in AI and other spaces.
We then hire the top performers, and this training continues. As they’re exposed to projects, clients, and deliverables, we train them moving forward.
We retain them as much as possible by providing a sound financial and career plan and creating a fun, family-oriented, inclusive atmosphere whereby people feel they can grow and build a future.
With global cloud providers like Microsoft and Google offering robust AI solutions, how does Eurisko position its AI products and solutions to stand out? What unique value or innovation do you bring to your clients that these tech giants might not?
We don't compete with tech giants, but we compete with the implementers of tech clients' technology. Many customers need to understand that when they sign with Microsoft or Google, Google and Microsoft need to implement what they have. If the product is well implemented, it will ultimately succeed. So, we encourage our clients to work not only with one provider but also with multiple providers alongside our solutions.
Let’s take large language models (LLM) for example. If you work with Microsoft, you must work with their LLM and if you work with Google, you must work with their LLM. There are also tens of thousands of LLMs out there. What we do, is we integrate those LLMs through a multi-LLM or SLM (small language) model. This allows us to provide the best service to our clients.
How can the telecom industry leverage Eurisko's expertise in AI and technology innovation to overcome challenges such as customer retention, operational efficiency, and innovative marketing?
When it comes to innovative marketing, there are many players, as everybody is implementing AI marketing right now. This is why we wanted to avoid investing in that space. However, we invested in, and are currently investing in, two critical spaces. The first space is everything related to call centers and how to integrate AI to solve customer problems.
The second essential aspect involves integrating AI into lifecycle optimization, whether it be part of the development, digital factory, sales, or operational aspects of the lifecycle. We integrate AI into tools and processes so we can generate KPIs based on people and outcomes and ultimately help them to optimize the lifecycle.
