Mr. Osman Sultan, former CEO, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC) won the ‘Merit Leader Award for Lifetime Achievement’ at the Telecom Review Excellence Awards 2019, held in the Meydan Hotel in Dubai.
"This year's award winners represent the absolute best in our industry and we are very proud to honor these winners with such a distinguished award," said Toni Eid, CEO of Trace Media International and founder of Telecom Review.
He has set, during the course of his career, several strategies translating the profound transformations that the telecom and information sectors have been creating in our lives.
As an influential figure and a mentor, the award recognizes 35 years of outstanding service in the ICT industry in the MEA region.
The Lifetime Achievement Award acknowledges Sultan as an industry pioneer who has helped shape and inspire the Middle East and Africa region's telecommunications market.
Commenting on the gathering of the Telecom Review Excellence Awards, Jeff Seal, Head of the Awards Committee noted, "These awards recognize not only the best of the best in the industry, but their achievements as individuals."
