Telecom Review was invited to attend du’s exclusive event, which launched the iPhone 16 series, marking a significant moment for technology enthusiasts across the UAE.

The invitation-only event, held at the Bvlgari Yacht Club in Dubai, provided a unique platform for du customers to be amongst the first to explore the remarkable features, strength, beauty, and titanium aesthetic that encapsulates the new iPhone 16.

du set the stage further with a dedicated iPhone 16 demo station, where attendees were welcomed to immerse themselves in the device's cutting-edge features such as the new action and camera control buttons, A18 chip, and the 48MP Fusion camera improvement. Counters were also set up across the event where pre-booked iPhone 16 orders were claimed by customers.

In alignment with du's commitment to social responsibility and economic development, a selected number of local SMEs were provided with a platform to display and sell their products, offering a unique opportunity to spotlight the growing entrepreneurial spirit within the community.

Commenting on this event, Chief Commercial Officer, Karim Benkirane, said, “Innovation lies at the heart of our strategy, and, undoubtedly, the iPhone continues to drive innovation—simplifying, disrupting, and reshaping the market. Partnering closely with Apple, particularly through our du co-branding efforts, ensures that we deliver cutting-edge solutions to our tech-savvy, early-adopter customers. We take pride in meeting the significant demand from these segments."

According to the CCO, du has provided unlimited data for customers to explore the full potential of the new iPhone 16 series, leveraging its high-speed, low-latency 5G network.
