On the second day of the 18th Telecom Review Leaders’ Summit, Eng. Mohammed Jaddah, Director of Wireless Networks and Services, TDRA, delivered a keynote address emphasizing the UAE's leadership in digital innovation.

He highlighted how the UAE has consistently positioned itself at the forefront of global advancements. “The UAE has always been a global leader by enabling regulations for smart cities, IoT, public safety in our already evolving world,” he noted.

Jaddah underpinned the country's achievements in the age of digital transformation, emphasizing the exceptional connectivity and convenience the UAE provides.

The TDRA's initiatives emphasize a comprehensive approach to enhancing the telecommunications sector in the UAE, ensuring its alignment with global best practices while addressing societal needs.

The UAE's telecom landscape is shaped by several key initiatives that drive efficiency, reduce bureaucracy, and foster innovation. For instance, the Go Digital initiative aims to transition government services to digital platforms, reducing physical service centers and increasing accessibility for users. This aligns with the UAE's broader vision of becoming a global leader in digital transformation.

In line with this, the Bashr service enables investors to establish businesses in the UAE within 15 minutes through a unified online platform, streamlining processes and enhancing the business environment​. Additionally, the mSurvey service allows for better customer engagement by providing a platform for government entities to interact with citizens and improve public service offerings​.

Jaddah stressed the importance of prioritizing security, public safety, societal well-being, and fostering fair competition in the telecom sector.

His address also covered critical areas such as emergency communication, zero bureaucracy, dispute resolution, and government effectiveness. He further emphasized the UAE's focus on advancing telecom standards and developing network strategies that incorporate cutting-edge technologies like AI.

Jaddah’s keynote reiterated the UAE's commitment to leading global innovation and ensuring sustainable digital growth while addressing key societal needs.
