Starting its services as the third mobile operator in Oman, Vodafone Oman celebrated its inauguration ceremony at Mall of Oman, under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Azzan bin Qais Al Said, in attendance of their Excellencies as well as the chairman and board members of Vodafone.

Commenting on the launch, Engineer Bader Bin Saud Al-Zidi, CEO of Vodafone Oman, said, “At Vodafone Oman, we believe that enhancing connection and digitalization for a better future is one of our main purposes. Today marks the first stage in our journey as we gradually unveil our customer-centric offerings and mobile operator services. Step-by-step, we aim to position ourselves as pioneers of digital innovation and sustainable growth within Oman.”

In parallel to this, the Vodafone Hub opened its doors to present the latest technologies and showcase the best in local tech talent. Vodafone is known to bring the best of the world to the sultanate in a relevant and uniquely Omani way, giving opportunities to SMEs and the country’s youth.

Big data analytics and extensive market research tell us that customers want radically different, innovative, and transparent products. I am excited to unveil our 77 launch offer, the first-of-its-kind offering with attractive global features to benefit our customers,” said Jan Holzberg, commercial director of Vodafone Oman. 

Vodafone’s exclusive launch offer, which is valid until January 31, 2022, includes 77 GB of data, 777 local voice minutes, and 777 local SMS for a period of 77 days.

Under the slogan ‘Together We Can’, Vodafone’s brand positioning emphasizes how people, connectivity, and technology can address challenges and demonstrates the company’s belief that technology and society combined can build a better future.
