In line with its commitment to collaborate with all governmental efforts aiming at increasing Emiratisation levels across various economic sectors in the UAE, du announced its participation in the first edition of the National Service Career Fair. Held between May 23 and 25 at Zayed Military City, the exhibition aims to secure the educational and professional future of National Service program graduates.

Ibrhaim Nassir, chief human Capital and administration officer, du, said: ""At du, we consider the National Service program as one of the major training programs, as it has a significant and positive impact on the personal and professional development of the employees. Fulfilling the National Service program enhances the added value to the development of an employee's career, as it consolidates their role as productive individuals in society and broadens their horizons by enabling communication and engagement with individuals from various sectors.""

As a socially responsible Emirati company, du will highlight its support for the National Service's initiative through enabling all eligible employees to attend the service. More than 35 du employees have attended the national service thus far.

The company recently introduced a new user-friendly recruitment tool which allows employees to apply for jobs, in addition to recommend candidates for vacancies through social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. This tool complements the newly launched website for potential candidates to find information when looking for their dream job. Candidates can log onto www.talentknowstalent.du.ae and register their details.
