Nokia announced the company’s financial results for the first quarter 2021, registering a strong start to the year with constant currency net sales up 9% year-on-year, driven by strong growth in network infrastructure and solid growth in mobile networks; reported net sales increased 3%.

Huawei’s Eco-development department has started a first-of-its-kind initiative to support regional companies that have recently launched their mobile app within the Middle East and Africa regions. They can grow their userbase through Huawei’s official app distribution platform AppGallery that leverages the Huawei Mobile Service Core (HMS).

Nokia announced an agreement with the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) to aid and expedite its member companies’ broadband service rollouts and expansions. Under the terms of the agreement, Nokia will provide NCTC members with tailored fiber solutions and access to premier service programs. Unique in the industry, the Nokia solution also enables a simple upgrade path to 25Gb/s.

Cisco Foundation will be investing $100 million over ten years to fund nonprofit grants and impact investments that support bold climate solutions as well as community education and activation. The Foundation’s endowment is funded by Cisco.
