Ooredoo Oman has announced the appointment of Mr. Saoud bin Hamad Al Riyami as its new Acting Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Mr. Bassam Yousef Al-Ibrahim, marking a significant transition for the company.
With over two decades of industry experience, Mr. Al Riyami has held various management and leadership positions within Ooredoo Oman since 2009, including Head of Business Sales and Director of Business Sales and ICT Solutions, before being appointed as Chief Business and Wholesale Officer, where he made substantial achievements and contributions to the company’s growth and success.
Ooredoo Oman also expressed gratitude to the outgoing CEO, Mr. Al-Ibrahim, for his successful tenure and valuable contributions to Ooredoo Oman.
The appointment of Mr. Al Riyami reflects Ooredoo Oman’s commitment to valuing internal talent for leadership roles and ensuring the continuity of its strategic goals and vision in the rapidly changing telecom landscape.
