In yet another milestone in the 5G journey, Etisalat has successfully completed the first end-to-end 5G Standalone (SA) call in the UAE and has become the first operator in the MENA region to achieve this milestone.

Etisalat aims to have 1000 base stations by the end of the year with 700 sites completed as of now, leading to 30 percent of the main cities. By 2020, Etisalat aims to complete 40 percent of the main cities.
