Indonesia's quest to build a robust digital economy and ecosystem will get a major boost this August with the launch of a dedicated series of industry events comprising of the Indonesia ICT Summit, Communic Indonesia and Broadcast Indonesia 2016. These inaugural events will be held from 31 August - 3 September at the Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran.

Officially sanctioned as the national communications and information forum, in conjunction with the Indonesia Postal Day 2016, the Indonesia ICT Summit 2016 is hosted by its industry authority, Masyarakat Telematika Indonesia (MASTEL). Comprising of mega trend keynotes, visionary addresses, thought leaders dialogues, regulatory forum, innovators dialogues and application roundtables, the Indonesia ICT Summit 2016 is expected to attract over 1000 delegates across Indonesia.

Featured alongside the Indonesia ICT Summit, are Communic Indonesia 2016, the international exhibition on communications and information technology and Broadcast Indonesia 2016, the international digital multimedia and entertainment technology exhibition. The two exhibitions will bring together top tech innovators, and global ICT and broadcasting brands represented by over 450 exhibitors from more than 40 countries. International group pavilions expected at the exhibitions include Brunei, China, Germany, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom and United States of America.

Solutions fundamental to driving the current state of Indonesia's ICT and broadcasting media landscape forward will feature prominently at Communic Indonesia and Broadcast Indonesia. Solutions related to infrastructure technology, broadband, satellite communications, mobility and enterprise solutions including cloud and big data to aid in connecting the population and elevating business productivity and standards of living will make up the bulk of Communic Indonesia. Broadcast Indonesia on the other hand will lean into Indonesia's push for a migration to full digital broadcasting.
